Previously, Ts. Mohd Hazlie had seconded to SEAMEO RECSAM as Mathematics Education Specialist (Lecturer) since 2018 -2019 and he was a former Examination Officer from 2013 to 2018 at the same IPG Kampus Pulau Pinang.
He was also a former UPSR English, Math and Science Year 6 Teacher from 2009-2013 at 2 Schools at Miri and Kuching, Sarawak.
Before joining teaching profession (2003-2007), he was formerly working as an IT engineer in private sector such as Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd., Mesiniaga Berhad (IBM) and Dataprep Holdings Bhd before he joined teaching professions.
